How we determine soil type:
Scientifically, there are 12 types of soil textures as shown in the given figure. Each of these textures possess certain chemical and airable properties that are good for certain types of vegetation.

When it comes to farming, some crops are sometimes harmful for the soil in the long term or have poor yields in specific soil textures. We observed this problem, did our own research, and created a "dictionary" of different soil types, and which crops are best suited for that type.

This website asks the user to take 10 random samples from their farm and provide us with an estimated diameter in mm of a random soil particulate from these samples. This data is then processed through our ML algorithm which determines the soil type for the farmer and recommends suitable crops! Thus improving agricultural efficiency and helping the farmer maximize their yield.
